QUEER VOICE

A Queer voice nasceu da paixão pelo jornalismo e o anseio de fazer a diferença pela comunidade LGBTQIA+, através de um site com artigos, vídeos e áudio sobre histórias reais, levando informação e, principalmente, vivências diversas para outras pessoas. Há tantas histórias da comunidade que precisam ser contadas, nem só de artistas pops vivem pessoas LGBTQIA. Toda história de vida é válida.

Avançamos muito no que diz respeito a informação, mas a comunidade, em si, ainda é muito segregada. Pessoas queer, não-binárias, trans, intersex, assexuais, por exemplo, ainda são invisibilidades dentro do próprio meio. Então, nessa hora entra a educação e a comunicação, para informar, contar histórias de vida, mostrando que há outras pessoas com as mesmas lutas em outro lugar do mundo, e que podem se conectar, para entenderem o seu redor e para se entenderem também.

Queer Voice

Queer voice was born from the passion for journalism and the desire to make a difference for the LGBTQIA + community, through a website with articles, videos and audio about real stories, bringing information and, mainly, different experiences to other people. There are so many stories from the community that need to be told, not only from pop artists live LGBTQIA people. Every life story is valid.

We have come a long way in terms of information, but the community itself is still very segregated. Queer, non-binary, trans, intersex, asexual people, for example, are still invisibilities within the medium itself. So, at that time, education and communication come in, to inform, tell life stories, showing that there are other people with the same struggles elsewhere in the world, and that they can connect, to understand what surrounds them and to understand themselves as well.
