I've started my first day in Den Haag and visited Scheveningen. I waited until the Sun goes down, to see the ferris wheel in a special light. After a few photos, I took a ride with it and enjoyed a espresso and some cake at the top, a magical moment for me.
Than I went to Rotterdam, to visit the Kinderdijk via the water taxi, but the bad weather conditions and a technical defect prevented my plan. So I used the time to explore Rotterdam.
A nice way to explore Rotterdam, is with the old sightseeing train. It is very relaxing, has style, and you can jump on and off at the best touristic places.
Did you know that Rotterdam has an old historic city part? You can enjoy a nice meal or a beer in a historic fishermans bar.
