The place belongs to a young couple of former colleagues with a dog who used to work in the design and architecture fields. They have both slightly shifted emphasis in their career paths now working in IT and being a young designer of clothes. Thus the apartment represents opposite personalities they both possess combining a tendency for enthusiasm and activity, a thirst for movement and travel with a desire for solitude, tranquility and the ability to concentrate at work. The main principle the couple insisted on is making use of maximum space in the apartment, and at the same time, adding specific functionality to each of its corners. That is the reason why various partitions were actively used by our architects.
The kitchen and the living room

The first part of the space serves as the entrance which was performed in the form of the simple hallway with an accent on a guest bathroom. This was specially made for the convenience of washing the dog right after the walk as it is allowed everywhere and the sterility both in literal and figurative senses is the main principle for the couple. Leaving the hallway behind us we find ourselves in the kitchen and living room combined in one wholesome space. The first thing that catches our attention is an exclusive sofa (and a soft group in general) and an accent bearing wall with a fluent changing colours. By the way, the theme of gradients serves as a leitmotif throughout the whole apartment, even in details, which is not obvious from the first sight but can be totally sensed after seeing the whole place. The main feature of this room is in its hidden kitchen as thanks to the sliding partition you can completely hide the kitchen and the opening of the entrance to the hallway and get the most laconic space (let’s admit there is a sterility effect when all the zones are hidden). One more part of this space is the dining area, which is small and roomy at the same time, as if isolated from all other areas. This makes it perfect both for a cozy romantic supper for two or for receiving guests on a dinner party.
The workplace

Further the plot unfolds in a more private way, as the part of the apartment serving as the working area is available to only the closest ones. Both of them used to be successful designers, visual content creators and promising architects, so the love for powerful technology dominates in their world perception which led us to installing a large work table. The storage areas are very concentrated and highly functional with one of them surrounding the workplace. Thus those areas are a stone's throw from the table and comprise all necessary work equipment which might be needed by the couple in their work process. Next to the workplace there is a private oasis of relaxation where you can isolate yourself from everyone, reading, resting or doing yoga.
The bedroom and master bathroom

The most private area of the apartment is situated in front of the work zone and behind a glass partition with tinted glass. It is a minimalistic one-color bedroom with the master bathroom which is also known as our designers’ pride in this project. The calm colour palette is preserved even in a few decorative details located in this room. The main peculiarity of the bathroom is a glass partition that lets in natural light and also combines a wardrobe with a laundry area. The tall sink allows for a large mirror and open shelves for first-hand items. The solid color of this block is diluted with RGB glass to create a cozy atmosphere in the bathroom. Having two glass partition instead of the walls enabled the place to look spacious and having curtains to hide the room from the others’ eyes made it isolated and intimate as the owners intended to.
The guest bathroom

The entrance to the guest bathroom is located in the hallway thus making it convenient for using right after entering the apartment. This room represents the gradient motif quite well and the shower walls give the effect of smooth colour and water flow which is emphasized even more by the dim lighting. The plain geometric forms are preserved too so the bathroom features both utility and visual unity.
