About the project
Kanovits Print decided to send out sample packages of the agency’s best works as a part of their marketing campaign to partner companies. Some of the previous projects were selected by Zoltan Kanovits CEO, recreated and added to the sample packages.
Brief
My task was to create an appropriate packaging for the samples and example business cards using the new Xerox® Iridesse™ Production Press. Each business card design had to include one or two Specialty Dry Inks mixed with CMYK. In 2019, I was asked to create corporate holiday greeting cards matching our previous designs.
The Design Process
I designed a box with a sleeve, with several geometric and organic patterns. I also used 3 – later modified – Shutterstock images for the business cards to experiment with white and CMYK printing on Mirror papers. For the holiday cards, I used the rainbow colour theme from our previous campaign and combined it with the same technology (white and CMYK printing on Mirror papers, silver ink and clear varnish on black Plike papers).
The sleeves and business cards were printed with Xerox® Iridesse™ Production Press Specialty Dry Inks Gold, Silver, White and Clear varnish on Mirror Gold, Mirror Silver, Plike Black and Black Smooth paper.
Impact and Feedback
The Kanovits Print agency sent out the sample packages to their long-term clients as well as potential new customers and partner companies. In September 2020, additional 25 packages are being prepared to business partners in Austria and Slovakia.
