VODACOM - SOUTH AFRICAN FLAG - NEW LOOK ENDBOARD
I was asked to create a new look endboard for Vodacom Advertising South Africa, based on the existing animation created for Vodafone in the UK with the Union Jack. The idea was to create something that would exist within the same aesthetic, however it would hold a unique approach that encapsulated a South African charm, even down to the colour grade. I received design briefs with the colour palette and layout and I created the flag in 3D with Blender with fluid effects to simulate the tiers raising from the floor plane. The animation was further layered in After Effects and Video Copilot's Element 3D 2. Special thanks to the team at Ogilvy for giving me so much creative control over this.
