Drilling Holes Into Chopin

"Drilling Holes Into Chopion" was a personal task encouraged by modern dance piece "Requiem For Places" for which some of the music was originally intended. The goal was to transform a well known piece of classical music into something not completely weird well understandable but totally different.
Minimal style composition solely using material from Chopin's 08. Polonaise in A-Flat Major, Op. 53 - all sound designs, textures etc. are derived from the original, even using a black/white picture of Chopin for spectral design purposes. The piece was originally written as a final of a modern dance piece called "Requiem For Places", which premiered recently. -Part 7 of the Synchrotron series- A Tribute to infamous composer Gryogyi Lisgotskryi
More conventional but truely atmospheric piece. The textures in the middle section were achieved through extreme time stretching algorithms which allowed to expand it to 800 times the length of the original. Part 8 of the "Synchrotron Series"
