Tertulias Macondianas es una propuesta de empoderamiento femenino a través de la educación sexual integral que tiene como origen la deconstrucción de los personajes femeninos en la literatura de Gabriel García Márquez. Apoyándose en las narrativas de los mismos y cómo estos se enfrentan a la compleja cuestión de su sexualidad, se crea una dinámica conversacional que impulsa a los participantes a aprender sobre los diversos e intrincados matices de la sexualidad femenina, por medio del compartir de sus propias experiencias y opiniones frente a múltiples temas asociados a la misma. Las mujeres de García Márquez y sus historias se convierten en el punto de partida del contenido educativo, usando sus propios conflictos y perfiles como medio de aproximación y conexión de los usuarios con la dinámica.
La propuesta no busca obtener respuestas definitivas a las preguntas planteadas, sino busca que, a través de la conversación y la exposición de puntos de vista que pueden llegar a ser contrarios y/o conflictivos, exista un componente de aprendizaje. El resultado es un cuestionamiento de lo que culturalmente se impone sobre la conducta sexual, que propicie la curiosidad frente a aprender sobre la misma antes de tomar decisiones frente a cómo abordar la sexualidad propia.
Tertulias Macondianas proposes a sexual education-based female empowerment tool born from the deconstruction of female characters found in Gabriel García Márquez’s oeuvre. Taking both the characters’ individual narratives, and their approach to the complex subject of their sexuality, a dynamic is generated whereby conversation prompts participants to learn about the diverse and intricate nuances of female sexuality, sharing their own experiences and opinions regarding the different topics related to it. García Márquez’s women, as well as their stories, become the starting point of the educational content, their own conflicts and profiles becoming the means to connect the users to the whole dynamic.
This projects seeks not to definitively answer the questions it poses, rather, it seeks to create meaningful conversations, exposing different points of view which, while potentially opposing and conflicting, should create an environment of learning. This ultimately results in cultural suppositions regarding sexual behavior being questioned, thus encouraging a curiosity and a desire to learn about said behaviors before blindly making decisions about one’s own sexuality.

The final document is a compilation of the research and analysis process that was carried out for the realization of this project. It is an operational complement to the project, through which it is possible to understand the way in which the connection between the Colombian Nobel literature and the chosen references was achieved, to, in the end, conceive the experience of comprehensive sexual education Tertulias Macondianas.
