REFRAMING URBAN RESILIENCE IMPLEMENTATION
Visual identity & website for a symposium of architecture and urbanism
The assignment consisted of designing the logo and defining the identity of the International Forum on Urbanism (IFOU) 2018, entitled “Reframing Urban Resilience Implementation”, within the framework of the Barcelona Resilience Week, to publicize the activities of the congress.
The graphic identity is based on the concepts "Reframing + Resilience" and "Urban + Implementation", where resilience is not a closed circuit, but adaptation and growth, while urban implementation is diversity, grid, plot, height. More than a logo, it was thought of a liquid identity that adapts in color, shape, size, and stands out from the typical symbolism of resilience, where the changing symbol is complemented by the name of the congress.
The identity was applied on the congress website, promotional material such as posters, postcards, banners, and information material for attendees (300 people) such as folder and booklet, badges, bag and internal signage.
