'Mother's day' is a personal project that we created collaboratively with stylist Lucy Upton-Prowse, who styled the shoot and also modelled for it with her son Louis. The idea of a shoot came about during our chats about how we both feel pressured to be perfect mothers and to have it all at the same time. The project illustrates some of the challenges that society puts against new mothers - whether it's getting back in shape fast, having a perfect work and life balance (even if it means splitting in half) and breastfeeding the baby while not distracting the others.
