On 1st January 1943, the American folk musician Woody Guthrie wrote a list of thirty-three New Years Rulin's.
Sweet, earnest and funny, the list continues to be relevant and popular to this day. In 2018 I compiled the list in a short book and brought Guthrie's words to life with a series of playful illustrations.
These illustrations were exhibited as a series of print at the first edition of Kilkenny Animated — an annual festival of visual storytelling held in Ireland's medieval capital.
