AR KNOTFEST 2021 is a project that arises from the combination of augmented reality technology and the musical culture related to Metal and Rock. For many people, all the articles related to this culture, for the most part related to concerts, are of such importance that they are collected and valued over time by these people. Because of this we imagine a dream concert based on an existing festival, THE KNOTFEST, in which we choose the participating line-up and create their occasional image. Our goal is to provide people with a new experience, much more immersive, in which they can have a preamble to the concert from a set of interactive posters. #KF21

To begin our project, we had to make a visual investigation and decide how we were going to present the poster as a graphic element that can work on different formats because our proposal includes: a 50x70 cm poster, 6 mini posters and the ticket of the event. Also, we made some storyboards for the animation and editing of the videos that are going to be seen through Augmented Reality.

A HAPPENING THAT WILL AWAKEN YOUR DARKEST SENSES
To demonstrate the augmented reality that is displayed when focusing on a poster, we decided to use the main one (70X50CM). However, using the app you can enjoy all the other promos that are displayed on the smaller posters (20X20CM). The reason why we decided to divide our project into several augmented realities was because usually the promos of this type of concerts usually last a long time because only one video is shown in a row. With ROAD TO KNOTFEST 2021 you can enjoy the content you prefer without necessarily having to see the others, you can admire the bands you like and in the end meet new ones that you might like, all this before having the opportunity to go to the concert.
