The Brief:
Encourage more designers to visit and use the Fedrigoni London Showroom.
Target Audience:
The design and creative community, all those that use or want to use speciality papers.
Solution:
My solution for this brief revolved around the idea that designers have a soft spot for paper; therefore I decided to follow a sexual route for my research.
This idea was driven more powerfully by the paper stock (Fedrigoni Paper samples) used throughout the book I designed.
Peep shows reveal sexual activity through a hole therefore I wanted to achieve this sexual content using fedrigoni paper by giving the paper personality. I brainstormed words that relate to sexual activity which also describe paper, such as wet, hard, flexible etc. I then followed on to sharing with the reader what the show room can do for them by relating to the chosen words.
I made the front cover black and used pink rubdowns to give the piece a seductive essence. The layout was kept clean and tidy to reflect on the high standard of the company.
