Tribalism
Representing identities through the subject of heads, this project explores the innate and prevailing tribal mindset. Surreal, organic growths and tendrils connect to other heads, showing the merging and distortion of an individual identity whilst referencing the connection between tribalism, biology, the human mind, and ancestry.
The composition of this drawing is made up of cultural references from my ancestry, combining Thai and Celtic dragons, with a blend of abstract patterns and heads, aiming to show how these ancestral identities could be blended into one.
