To avoid having the web presence of the company go visually stagnant, one of my common tasks as a Junior Graphic Designer was to create new images for ShannonLoren’s website and social media profiles. It was necessary to always have the intent of the design to tell the viewer that we offer promotional products that can be customized with their company branding. Photos were preferred as it gave the viewer a realistic picture of what to expect. I was able to do a more abstract and vector design for the Creative Services banner on the store homepage. Using the same design for Facebook and LinkedIn also made me have to decide the best way to show the image on two different social media platforms, each with their own sizing requirement and viewing limitations.
