This work is inspired by the great culture of my country, Mexico 🇲🇽, its colors and its proximity to death make this tradition unique in the world. Every year we gather in cemeteries to decorate them with flowers 🌼, colored paper candles  and even mariachi 🎶, all to remind our loved ones that according to our beliefs they return to visit us and eat 🌮 and drink 🍺 the things they liked in life.
I ❤️ my country.
José Guadalupe Posada (1852 – 1913) was a Mexican political lithographer who used relief printing to produce popular illustrations. His work has influenced numerous Latin American artists and cartoonists because of its satirical acuteness and social engagement. He used skulls, calaveras, and bones to convey political and cultural critiques.
