About the company and its products
Art of Tea are the suppliers of Chinese tea, who work according to "sell the tea that we drink ourselves" principle. The company is headed by two brothers, who personally visit China and take samples of tea.
Tea pyramids
We wanted to avoid a typical rectangular box and decided to go our own way. The designer used a jokey principle: "round to roll, square to put, triangular into triangular".
Colors and shape are not used by chance. The climate is important for tea. Tea grows in the mountains, needs irrigation and the right water for brewing. The pyramidal shape of the box follows the shape of the mountain. Inside the carton pack is blue with pattern, as well as the sachet. Inside the box the leaf pattern becomes similar to water drops. On each package there is a pictogram with tea brewing guide. The blue tea leaf acts as a label.
The last touch is to combine the design thought with the marketing idea. So a compound six-pyramid wrapping-tube appeared, which in its shape resembles a Chinese flashlight. You can collect six any triangular packages, combined with cardboard ribbon. We used the natural habit of the human brain to complete parts: in such a tube you can mix your favorite varieties of tea and have a collection. The solution increases the product development potential and stimulates sales.
