Seizing inspiration from the roman arch and roman aqueducts, this project aims to replicate the core princicles of arches on vertical surfaces, following a repetitive pattern.
Experiments were conducted on a number of units/cells in order to define and debug any problems. Then, the script was applied on different 3D grids (rectangular, hexagonal, triangular), essentially applying the unit generation principles to a number of cells.
Finally, the script was a applied to an enormous structure so as to test it limits and applications.
