Herlink Cañate is a Barranquillero born on September 23, 1987. He currently works in the poultry industry, having previously worked in a carpentry shop before relocating to Bogotá. He is pursuing his studies in languages and is happily married with a daughter.

In the future, when he completes his studies, he envisions himself creating stories with a talent similar to that of his favorite writer, Stephen King. Herlink is particularly fond of King's works, including "The Dark Half" and "11/22/63." He has plans to write three books, two of which will belong to a fictional trilogy. Additionally, he intends to write a book tackling a complex police issue. He hopes to have his works published, although he hasn't decided on a specific publishing house yet. His primary goal is to finish writing his books.
