This year I was studying Roy Lichtenstein's style of art at my university and I needed to stylize my portait to look similar to his works. I really liked how the overall simpicity of the artpiece managed to be so emotional at the same time so I wanted not to only create my own portait in his style, but to try to make more, maybe adapt it in some way to see if it can be used to make some sort of decorative portaits.
After making my own portrait I understood the basics of the style. After two months, I finally tried to adapt my girlfriend's photo to this style. And, as a result, that's a style that uses Ben Day dots to fill up skin-toned spaces and/or lips, uses mostly spectral colors, lines to show shadows, if needed and expressive, elegant lines that can drammatically increase in width or fade away.
