NOCTURNAL FOREST

We should not be afraid of the darkness. Nights are magical. A walk through a dark forest can enchant us even in our because it's an unknown world of breathtaking beauty right on our doorstep. Surrounded by artificial light all day we have forgotten the grandeur of natural blackness.
During the last decade I immersed into nocturnal forests again and again. Mainly to reach my photo spots, where I capture my mystical shots of foggy forests and mountains. But actually often enough the hikes through the night were the even bigger adventures than the photo sessions. I encountered the toughest weather conditions but also wild animals like wolves.
These experiences led to the book project "Nachts im Wald" (Forest by Night)
