Me Too Egypt
During the past month, several brave women spoke up against a serial sexual predator who raped and assaulted over 50 women in Egypt. This incident sparked a strong outcry against all the injustices and harassments women face on a daily basis in the streets of Egypt. Over 90% of Egyptian women have experienced harrassement of some type. The media's attention on this form of injustice and inhumane form of living was the beginning of a revolution against inequality faced by all women in Egypt.
It is time to speak up and stand together.
