Here is another trailer for a new character from season 6 of APEX LEGENDS : Stories from the outlands video game.
In colaboration with director Mads Broni I had the mission to bring this intense action sequence to its climax and integrate all the awesome elements that was provided by the incredibly talented artworks artists and animators. Then it was only a matter of making it looks as badass as possible with sick camera moves, neat FXs, ambiances and lighting, to finally bring as much life as possible to the shots.
This one was again so cool to work on, I don't have much occasions to work on such intense action scenes but here I had the amazing opportunity to create stuff and play with all those great FX, amazing artworks and animations! Adapting video game designs and elements into 2d animation film is always awesome and challenging but very rewarding. It allows some great experiments and stylization to find the best way to achieve the final look of it
