THE QUEEN CLEOPATRA -Beauty Rituals

THE QUEEN CLEOPATRA
Cleopatra comes from Greek origin and is known for her Beauty and Flawless skin. Her beauty secrets have been researched and studied thoroughly. She has always been regarded as one of the world’s most beautiful women and word of her stunning looks and beautiful skin spread from one generation to the next.  The ancient Egyptians were famous for their beauty rituals, even 5,000 years ago, and Cleopatra was the queen of beauty innovation. The Egyptian queen’s beauty techniques were so progressive that many of her secrets are still relevant today.
Being a keen admirer of  the EGYPTIAN setup , tried my best to bring back the whole egyptian vibe in a room . Making my mother my muse i.e QUEEN CLEOPATRA . I compiled this work of mine for my college assignment where we were given CLEOPATRA as the topic of research of  that week and luckily all my hardwork behind this setup paid off when my name got published with this creation of mine in the editor's choice of the week.
Dead sea salt scrub was the natural scrub she used to exfoliate her body and face.
She added Dead Sea salt to her bath with essential oils and aromatic flowers to relieve stress and make her skin glow.  The queen had access to salt from the dead sea and also salt mined in caves. The mineral-rich salt from the dead sea was used in her beauty rituals extensively as it was believed to add glow to her skin and keep it pristine by removing dead skin cells and preventing blemishes from occurring.

It is said that for soft and glowing skin, Cleopatra, the Egyptian beauty, used to mix milk of a young donkey with fresh honey , rose petals and almond oil.
The natural nail polish that Queen Cleopatra used was Henna, which gives fingernails a lovely reddish-brown color. Red ochre and fat mixed together was used to color her lips, and Celery and hemp were combined for soothing her eyes. Antimony Sulphide was the black chemical she used to make her eyes, eyebrows and her lashes dark.
She used to chew cachous pastilles to prevent bad breath, basically its best for digestion which further helped in odour.
