Steve in Quarantine
This stopmotion project was done during the months of quarantine (early 2020). I had multiple assignments, projects, and quzzes all the time and this video depicts how i felt. Our meaning of work has changed as we stopped leaving our houses. Steve is just an ordinary guy who has to go through his job everyday. I consider Steve's life a life I never want to live.
Set
Steve's room is the most boring room ever. I added black strips to the wall to look like a prison. He only has a few unpainted furniture pieces - only what he needs. The furniture and floor is cut out of balsa wood. Steve's color and shape was inspired of the character 'sadness' from Pixar's inside out. The sound effects are what you'd normally hear indoors like strong airconditioners and keyboard keys.
