Design for an office chair for the art/architecture exhibition RETAIL APOCALYPSE, curated by Fredi Fischli and Niels Olsen at GTA Zurich and the Harvard University Graduate School of Design featuring work by Rei Kawakubo, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, JG Ballard, Martin Margeila, Rem Koolhaas, and many more.
The chair is a hybrid of the classic mobile Herman Miller Aeron chair and the kitsch rattan peacock throne first produced in colonial Philipino prisons and popularized in black radical traditions by Huey P Newton of the Black Panther Party.
