NAACP Media Policy Toolkit w/ New America Foundation

I worked with the Media Policy Iniaitive at the New America Foundation, the NAACP Hollywood Bureau, and the University of Southern California Annenberg School of Communiations to design and build this "toolkit" for the NAACP.  The idea was to create a entry point for the NAACP's membership to fold media and technology policy issues into civil rights advocacy.  I was the project's coordinator and lead a team of web developers, stakeholders and content producers to complete the beta site.  A generous grant from the Ford Foundation to the NAACP made this toolkit possible. NOTE: the content is unedited and unvetted for a mock-up beta site
Here is a screen shot of the Organizing reserouces page.  I curted a ton of information here!
There was also a media library, packed with links to relevant news blogs, videos, glossaries, podcasts, book recommendations and academic articles.
The "Take Action" section is supposed to be home to petitions and immediate actions.
Scrolled down the Tell Your Story page:
Here is one of many action pages I mocked-up. Users could click here from the main issues basket page and was linked to the bottom of every related blog post:
