Label design for a limited series of wine "MARÍNA"

The labels of MARÍNA wine contain elegant pictograms representing the lines from the poem "MARÍNA" written by Slovak Romantic poet Andrej Sládkovič. The poem is dedicated to love, that's why a heart symbol is used in most pictograms. Along with the labels, souvenir products such as poem books, calendars and bags are designed.

The poem "MARÍNA" is a Slovak national treasure, the world's longest love poem, published in 1846. It consists of 291 stanzas (2900 lines). In 2017 the poem was officially registered as a world record by the World Record Academy.

The limited series of wine "MARÍNA" is a collaborative project between the Love Bank and ELESKO winery.

The Love Bank is a unique place inspired by the love story of Andrej Sládkovič and Marína. It is located in the House of Marína in the legendary town of Banska Stiavnica. Here couples can store their keepsakes, different little things symbolizing their love.
The Love Bank contains 100,000 small love boxes. Each of them bears a piece of the original manuscript of the poem "MARÍNA": a letter, punctuation mark or space.

ELESKO winery produces premium wines from native grapes grown in Malokarpatska and Tokaj wine regions. ELESKO combines traditional methods of production and the most modern technologies.
