Promethean
We always have been excited to touch upon the future. And participating in it seemed even three times more exciting. We were approached by Promethean, a company that creates leading edge, interactive learning technology in order to bring to life the promise of 21st century learning: improving engagement and results for learners and teachers alike.
For an upcoming product, Promethean needed avatar icons, which would be used by male & female students aged 5-12. Additionally, Promethean requested that the avatars were unique and would be easily distinguishable when multiple students were using the software.

So we went straight down to business. First, we defined how exactly an avatar should look: a solid shape or a portrait?
The client decided upon having face portraits. Next, we drew sketches of all avatars.
Then we armed ourselves with vector editors and with great passion drew the whole set.
