There is a place that should not exist but somehow it does - somehow the reality continues. Inside this slum community are dangers unknown and life threatening hazards - but somehow families persevere.
Hidden in the shadows of this place is a community of people that somehow defy the odds. Somehow they survive. Every time I visit, an anxiety surfaces from deep within at what could happen should something go wrong while I am inside. Somehow I survive unscathed too.
Inside this place life has to be discovered, as most of it remains hidden within the shadows of this underworld like existence. We feed over 100 kids from here. They make it to the meal location down the street every night– somehow. Here is a glimpse inside the world known to many as home.
