#Chicagogirl
This is the main title for the award winning documentary #chicagoGirl. It takes the viewer on a visual journey of what it's like for Ala'a to organize a protest in Syria from her laptop and cellphone in The United States. I worked closely with Director Joe Piscatella to craft a design language that would enhance and help to capture a visual story that resonates with the audience.

#Chicagogirl
This segment of the film explains the rise of Bashar al-Assad using a family portrait as a visual device paired with narration making analogues to The Godfather Trilogy.

#Chicagogirl
This reel is a collection of some of the graphics I made in addition to the Main Title and the Godfather Photo, for the documentary #chicagoGirl.
The goal of the graphics package was to create a visual language that took its cues from the aesthetics of social media design at the time applied to the film's subject, a Syrian-American woman who wields social media organization as a tool to organize protests and the resistance in the Syrian Civil War. The complete package included ID's, lower thirds, graphic segments, and internal text cards.
Being a massive follower of politics and world events, it was a great pleasure to have the opportunity to lend my art to help tell an important story.
