As with most promotional campaigns, I was on the team as a finisher at Daniel Clark Creative which worked on the promotional campaign for Star Trek: Beyond.
As a lifelong Star Trek fan, I got a big kick out of working on this. I mostly worked on the backgrounds matte painting, but did a few other aspects here and there.

We got a mostly clean render of the saucer section of the enterprise. I was tasked with DESTROYING IT! I painted all the grunge, debris, fire, smoke, etc. I also painted/cleaned up a bit of the foreground as well as painted the dirt on the actors faces.
Mostly just matte painted the foreground, mid-ground and a little of the background.
