Chester Bennington is one of my inspirations and is missed. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who can say that listening to @linkinpark over the years helped me through dark times in my life. Many of the lyrics Chester sang expresses his pain and depression. And tragically, Chester couldn't handle the pain anymore and took his life on this day three years ago

I, like many who were touched by his life, was crushed. His suicide, along with so many other public figures, pushed me to want to help people who are suffering through depression and mental health.

There are resources out there for anyone who is contemplating suicide right now, fighting through depression, trauma, and grief. More importantly, you can reach out to me or anyone who is within shouting or texting distance for help.

Depression is a disease and we can fight it together.
