Zirc has many cultural and natural values. However, there aren't any buildings in the city that would be able to welcome and to inform the tourists. Besides the family trips, the school tours can contribute to the rate of tourism. Unfortunately, there is a lack of a safety meeting point in the center. The aim of the concept is to establish a base that can be an arrival and departing point as well as to lease the building for different events, exhibitions and workshops.
The main question during the whole design process was: How can you unite the traditional and contemporary approaches and complete a harmonizing building? This issue had a strong impact on the interior design as well. My goal was to create a balanced interior that can simultaneously meet the requirements of different generations visiting Zirc and provide a long lasting experience.
