This custom typeface is designed with Hawaii in mind. I enjoy painting and embroidering in my free time and wanted to utilize those skills to create this unique typeface. 

I first started with a simple sans serif that would allow a large space for my design. Using watercolors, I painted an abstract ocean on white cotton fabric. Then I embroidered the details of the letters including the waves, plants and people floating. The final letters for my typeface were combined in Photoshop and animated in After Effects.
