NYC Highline Competition Entry

NYC Highline Competition Entry
This was a competition entry a colleague and I entered for the renovation of an abandoned elevated railroad line in the middle of New York City. The concept of our entry was to have the feeling of floating above street level. A tempered glass floor was placed above the existing platform to achieve that feeling. Also a teflon canopy was suspended above the glass floor to simulate clouds.
This project was done during my 4th year of architecture school.
