Considered one of the top museums of the world's collection, Le Louvre is located in Paris, France. Before becoming an art gallery two centuries ago, it was a royal residence for French monarchs who were great art collectors.

The collection of Le Louvre ranges from antiquity to artwork from the first half of the 19th century. The main attractions of the museum are the "Winged Victory of Samothrace," "Venus de Milo," and Leonardo da Vinci's "Mona Lisa." Several exhibitions were or are being held at Le Louvre, and to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the death of the painter Leonardo da Vinci in France, the museum presents an exhibit that culminates over ten years of the artist's work.

The Leonardo da Vinci anniversary exhibition will happen from October 2020 to February 2021, being organized by Vincent Delieuvin, from the Department of Paintings, and Louis Frank, from the Department of Prints and Drawings of the museum. Resources related to the event are available at Le Louvre's website.
