A "Design for Good" class assignment. I chose the topic of "Reviving the Victory Garden.

This design is made to operate on a touch-screen kiosk to encourage bettering your environment. The user is introduced to the topic with a short description on the home screen. The site presents that we are becoming more removed from what we eat and that we should be encouraged to grow our own food.

Visual diagrams compare the percentages of those that grew their own Victory gardens compared to today. Info-graphics show the benefits of growing your own food, environmental advantages, cost saving, good for the community, and good for your health. The site concludes with information on seasons to grow different produce, how to can and links to other people growing in your area.

Most of the illustrations were hand-painted in acrylic and edited in Photoshop. The screens were created in Indesign and prototyped in Invision.
