Cheery on Top Gelato // Branding
Cherry on Top is a vegan, dairy-free gelato proposal with a vibrant and fun vibe.
The idea came to me when talking to a friend who can't eat dairy or gluten, and relies heavily on the vegan industry when she has a sweet craving. She said most vegan or dairy free shops she knew were visually unappealing, with typical "green" iconography like leaves and plants and the excessive use of the color green.
That's what inspired this project: to create an eye-catching and colorful branding for a dairy-free gelato shop, straying away from the usual telltale signs, and also making it attractive to non-vegans. The idea is that instead of regular milk, Cherry on Top uses coconut milk, which has a rich texture that churns and freezes wonderfully to make their gelato.
