Seminar Patterns and Abstraction
In my seminar exposition, I was able to bring together my fascination for patterns and abstraction. Specifically, I became intrigued with visualizing constellations as they appear in formation. While these groupings of stars are often associated with traditional horoscopes, I also saw them as having a deeper, more abstract significance.
Interestingly, the names given to these constellations did not always seem to correspond with their actual appearance. As a result, I began to illustrate the zodiac signs based on the true star formations rather than their given names.
The resulting exhibition was designed to be an interactive experience, encouraging visitors to draw connections between the star formations, the constellations, and my illustrations. By exploring these links, visitors could gain a deeper understanding of the intricate relationship between these celestial phenomena.
