Essential Requirements

• Experience of developing of Flash projects in AS2
• Skilled in OOP practises / producing well-structured, well-thought-out code
• Experience of Games, Experiential / Interactive Experiences and Apps
• Experience of innovative and experimental work highly advantageous
• Commented code that is optimised, reusable and extensible
• Excellent attention to detail and quality of QA
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to perform under tight deadlines
• Valid UK work permit

Preferable

• Knowledge of AS3
• Experience of applying design patterns for efficient coding
• Knowledge of frameworks; e.g. APE/Flade, Papervision, Away3D etc.
• Database connections, data manipulation, XML etc.
• Knowledge of other client or server-side web technologies a benefit
• Working knowledge of version and source control systems
• An understanding of on-line best practices, trends and web standards

Bonus

• FLEX & AIR experience
• Knowledge of video streaming and compression techniques in Flash
• Working knowledge of Photoshop / Illustrator
• Familiarity with localisation and internationalisation
