We were instructed to address issues of biodiversity in a poster format. My fact was addressing the drastic amounts of plastic humans waste annually. Especially since plastic can directly impact land, water, and air pollution. Furthermore, plastic items can take up to 1,000 years to actually decompose, and during this time, it can directly impact the environment in a negative way. I chose to create a collage-style poster to show people the real life things that they can immediately associate with. In my poster, I aimed to show the detrimental impact plastic has on wildlife. I also wanted to show different forms of plastic to remind people how much plastic is used in materials.
