Digital Nomads Conference Program

Digital Nomads Conference Program Design
The Digital Nomads Conference program design was part of a series of challenges that were undertaken through my design studio class. The challenge of this program design was the time constraint. We were paired up with a fellow designer and given a client and conference to design for with no previous information and a time limit of 6 hours from reveal to ready for print.

With the help of my co-designer Michelle Woerle we created this conference program during the allotted time and had to solve problems based on hierarchy of information, type selection and layout. Considerations had to also be taken based on a specific set of wants by the client pertaining to inclusion of sponsors, style of typography and overall look of the conference program.
The front and back covers above were a challenge to find a creative way to fit all the information in terms of scheduling into a creative and easy to navigate layout. We settled on a timeline style schedule that was easy to find on the back of the brochure for quick access and were able to mirror the layout to have the first and second days on the top and bottom respectively.
Paying careful attention to the hierarchy allowed us to space the abundance of information that was required for the inside of the brochure cleanly. A few lines to break up some of the information and using vertical space to label which rooms certain talks were in allowed us to make the most use of our space.
