In November 2018, i received a command from the electronic music producer GAN GAH, based in Brussel. Born in Agadir, and mixing electronic music with arab sounds like chaabi, regatta or rai music, the universe of GAN GAH is joyful with a taste for crazyness. He told me he was looking for something very exagerated, kitshy and video games influenced. We had a lot of fun together and close friends since few years, it was more than a collaboration on this work, a complete " What the F...K " session.
After receiving few green screen shots, i used photos, integrated animation in 2d, compositing to keep this crazy vibe. A funky patchwork of funky arab vibes.
