No, it is not wearing a hat. Look closer. You will see the delicate smoothness of every surface, the exquisite turn at the border of the tabletop and how everything is perfectly aligned to provide a subtle equilibrium. The base material tells you a story of strength, while the surface material invites you to run your fingertips through it.
