Nadya Mitskevitch's profile

ILLUSTRATIONS: Three Days in the Open Ocean

"Alone in the Ocean" is a documentary book by Slava Kurilov. He was a oceanographer in USSR and he described his adventure in this story.
In 1974, he got on a Soviet ocean liner, and when they were near the Philippines, he jumped from a board. He spent 3 days in the open ocean, and then, finally, reached the Philippine island.
That's how he escaped from Soviet Union
In this book I used collage technique using Kurilov's widow photo archive, Ukrainian photo agency UKRINFORM service, free photos from Pixabay, my drawings and pictures.
The main idea of this book is how to achieve the real inner freedom!
