Timm Thaler, or how to use Magritte'S SURREALISM in illustrations
"Timm Thaler, or the Traded Laughter" by James Krüss is the story about a poor boy who sold his laugh to the Devil in exchange for the opportunity to have everything he wants. But with no chance to smile.
For this project I used a surrealism as a base style

I was inspired by Rene Magritte' paintings and the famous surrealistic movie "Last year in Marienbad", 1961 by Alain Resnais
