Scene Shading and Lighting

Design in Maya and render using Maya software procedures set up. A quick breakdown, the floor texturing was created using a normal map texture which was mapped into the color attribute of a material shader, with Maya 3d texture granite also mapped into the bump map attribute, giving that pop look to the floor texture as if there's dirt.
The wall was done using a normal map, the use of the file texture and a 3d bump attributes. An extra 2d bump utility node link on to the 3d bump through done through Maya connection editor. The connection which I use the camera out normal of the 2d bump to the normal camera of the 3d bump map. This which is linking  the 2d and 3d texture into the bump value for both the 2d and 3d Bump this is called  "bump on a bump."
The wall scroll was done using a projection method, I use Maya layer shader, a great shader for adding multiple textures on a shader attribute. Furthermore, I map those texture images into the image attribute of the projection while using interactive placement to fit them on a piece of geometry knew as the scroll.
This is why there is more than one writer on the wall scroll.
The Pillars was created using a texture map with raytrace added to its blinn material attribute, with the refraction limited to 6, the light absorbed to 0, surface thickness to 0, shadow attenuation set to .5, the reflection limited to 1, reflection security 1, and touch of the material blinn special effect glow intensity.
The background images outside the windows was simply a texture mapped on a geometry.
Lighting the scene was done using Maya spotlight and ambient lights. Three spotlights for outside to bring in light and two ambient lights inside to lighten the room. The spotlight, however, had some work done to them. Using the spotlight attribute I apply light fog, with fog spread, fog intensity, the color, the density, with depth map shadows on all the three spotlights for shadows in the scene.
For the room the two ambient lights I only look at the color attributes which gives the scene a touch green lightings.
