BMWi and XYZ have challenged four of today’s most powerful innovators of electronic music to reinterpret Vivaldi’s Four Seasons at the iconoic HighLine. Join Skrillex, David Guetta, Kaskade and Tiesto for an electroconcerto as they take NYC through the four seasons in one night, honoring the visionary mobility and inspiring design of BMW’s new premium electrical vehicles. The electroconcerto will take place 7pm during the Solar Equinox (Sep 22) at the iconic HighLine. Admission will be open to all New Yorkers and a VIP Experience will be available to XYZ subscribers via the XYZ Flash Sales program.

BLITZKRIEG IN CENTRAL PARK
The forward-thinking team at BMWi is driven to lead the eco-revolution with the launch of the first fully-electric automobiles. BMWi is casting a a brighter light at the end of the tunnel with its new laser headlights (1000 brighter than LEDs), giving us more mobility and less consumption. Inspired by this milestone in technology, BMWi and XYZ invite New Yorkers to join the fight for a brighter future! Join us in Central Park at the American Museum of Natural History for Blitzkrieg - a laser tag battle of massive proportions inside the Powerhouse of the museum (a classic loft space beyond the dinosaurs that once housed the museum’s coal generators - also extinct [soon to join…LEDs]). The last soldier standing will win a complimentary two-year lease of a BMWi model (starting January 2012). The winner will join BMWi‘s team of 700 “Electronauts” living in seven cities around the world (the only difference between you and your fellow ‘nauts is that you’re saving $499/mo…not to mention tons of gas and minimizing your carbon footprint).

POWERING THE LOWLINE
The Delancey Underground project aims to repurpose a trolley terminal beneath Delancey Street (that has been abandoned for 60 years) into an extraordinary subterranean public park nicknamed the “LowLine.” The idea was conceived by James Ramsey, a former NASA satellite engineer-turned-architect who was inspired by NY’s iconic HighLine. From art exhibitions, to farmers' markets, to educational series, to special events and promotions, this space will revitalize Manhattan and will inspire in the way beautiful environments can inspire. BMWi and XYZ are teaming up to bring this project to light as Delancey Underground is looking to raise critical funds to prove that this green oasis can become a reality (rather than remain a sci-fi mirage). XYZ members who donate $60 or more for the LowLine will be entered for a chance to lease a BMWi vehicle for two years as part of their worldwide “Electronaut” initiative (oh, and did we mention it’s completely electrical and you won’t have to pay the $499/mo that anyone else would have to pay to sport this power car).

BMWi invites you to be one of 100 New Yorkers who will have the opportunity to register for a chance to lease a new fully-electric BMW vehicle in January 2012 BMWi will select 10 XYZ members to become “Electronauts” for two years. In addition to leasing the ultimate electrical machine, one lucky driver will win a week-long trip (to include, travel and accommodations) for two to BMW’s headquarters in Munich, Germany, to meet with key figures in the company and tour BMW’s state-of-the-art facilities. While you’re there…XYZ may also put you to work as contributing writers (better yet, “international correspondents”). Painful duties may include: searching for the best lager, bratwurst, lounges, underground clubs (or is it massage parlors)…essentially, for a special edition of our mobile app city guide (Europe).
