Amaze is an all capital rigorous display face. This typeface took nearly 3 years to complete. It is meant to
support the visual context in which it is seen. I designed Amaze because I could not find a tall semi-bold
typeface that expressed itself through simplicity; something without curving lines or severe optical
corrections. I set out to reduce the forms to be most simplistic without compromising visual fidelity. Amaze
was purposefully built to label or identify, and can be partially obscured visually while remaining readable
as a relevant design choice.
