Description
I was asked to redesign the original fitbit package to give the One and Zip package more graphic
billboard area. The package needed to be cost effective and have the ability to show off the
product within the package. Collaborating with the fitbit team, we were able to come up with a simple package system to hold the product in place and to organize the accessories in a molded plastic tray. Moving forward with the next wearable fitbit
products, the Flex, Force, and Charge, I was tasked to design the plastic clip that would hold the bands in their respective packages. The clip needed to show off the product as well as hold it securely during shipping. It was also my responsibility to design the accessory packaging for the replacement bands. An all paper solution made it simple and elegant.

Creating a package
Making prototypes was a critical part in the design of the Fitbit clips. It was important to design the very best fit for the product and to find that happy medium between security and ease of use. As for the band clips, is was equally important to find the best way to show off the product and to hold it securely.
